A nice end to the season qualifying Highfox Faith for the NPS Supreme Dressage Championships, Novice and Prelim, 2017. Looking forward to Addington already.

Faith was Supreme in the 2016 NNFPSG Performance Awards and Junior Champion.

She represented Eldwick RC Dressage Team again at the BRC at the winter area qualifier, standing 2nd in her arena on joint collective marks and 2nd on percentage by .5. She had the 3rd highest prelim mark in all arenas and helped Eldwick to take team 4th place even though on e competitor had to sadly withdraw. Well done Eldwick!

Highfox Faith at the New Forest Breed Show 2016. Performance Pony, shown and produced by Philippa Hadwen

Just back from a successful New Forest Pony Breed Show, where Highfox Faith and Felicity did us proud.

Felicity (left) was a little unlucky to stand only third in the Two Year Old Fillies, but did incredibly well in the Open Riding Pony class to stand a great second, the only youngster and great comments from the judge in the second class. Love this pony!

Faith had a great show, going consistently well over the two days. She won the Performance Pony Class from a big quality field, was third in the Yeld Mares, second in the Open Ridden Pony, second in the Open Ridden not exceeding 138 cm, third in the Prelim and first in the Novice dressage.

Izzy King and Highfox Hermione also had an amazing show. They won the Junior Showjumping, were 4th in the Junior WHP notexceeding 138 cm and were placed in all their in hand classes. Well done girls.

Something very different for Highfox Faith, when she had a go at her first One Day Event on the 14th August. Rather a lot of jumps for a novice, but never looked at a thing, tackled every fence and only rolled two poles in the showjumping to finish an amazing 4th. New Forest ponies (even small ones like Faith) can turn their hoof to most things :)

Photo shows her modelling one of her prizes. a Saracen Feeds baseball cap. She preferred the prizes she could eat to be honest!

Faith and Philippa had an amazing time at the NPS Champs and no nasty accidents this year!  They were placed in every class they contested standing 2nd twice in excellent mixed company Amateur Rider and Intermediate; 5th in the Intermediate National Final, 4th in the Junior Home Produced National Final; 4th in the Junior National Final; they had a lovely time and Forest ponies had fantastic results across the board. Well done all :)

Good news. Highfox Evensong is safely back in foal, this time to the late Luckington Sportaide. We have everything crossed!

Well what a lot of fun this summer has been so far. Philippa and Faith had a great ride at the Yorkshire Show; never put  a foot wrong and finished on equal 9th on points - 46 entries, most forward and the only NF in the class. They also have continued with excellent scores in their dressage competitions, securely reaching scores in the top 60s and low 70s at Prelim level.

They represented Eldwick RC and British Riding Clubs Area Competition in August to stand 2nd in their arena and by doing so helped  the team to take 2nd place overall, qualifying for the National Champs in September.

Philippa Hadwen and Highfox Faith, New Forest Pony Champions at Royal Cheshire County 2016.

Highfox Hunky Dory - stable name Ziggy at ten days old. Dam Rainy Day Girl  Sire Samsons Spy.

Sadly Highfox Evensong's big colt foal was delivered stillborn; thankfully she was unscathed by the experience and is fine. Thank you to everyone for their messages and support, it helped a lot at a sad time.

Our first ever visit to the Royal Three Counties was very enjoyable and very encouraging as our novice pony makes the careful  transition into open classes; Faith and Philippa 3rd in a strong Open New Forest Ridden and 3rd in the New Forest mares and geldings; 8th in her first ever HOYS class (27 entries) and Highfox Felicity 3rd in the New Forest youngstock. Some super ponies forward and a good time with nice people. We will be going back!

Highfox Faith and Philippa had a great day in the sunshine at Penistone, returning to the ring after an enforced lay off due to the dreaded AS level exams.

PUK 1st M&M  In Hand and Champion M&M and then Supreme In Hand Champion Horse/Pony; 2nd in the Open M&M Ridden and Reserve Champion M&M Ridden and then Reserve Supreme Horse/Pony Ridden in Show.

Samsons Spy is now in Cheshire with the lovely Mandy Jackson. We hope they are going to have lots of fun together. Things are looking good so far!

Sisters ready for a hack on a lovely spring evening.

Left Highfox Faith and Highfox Forever right.

Highfox Faith, Best of Breed at Addington Manor, NPS Junior Prelim  Supreme Dressage Finals.  Rider Philippa Hadwen.

The pair qualified for this at Calderdale Saddle Club's dressage day; they also were the Club's Winter Series Intro and Prelim Junior Champions.

Highfox Felicity aged almost two years; wintered out and now getting pampered ready to learn a little more about showing. Long way to go this one, but a one of our favourites.
